What makes a photography training session so magical? It's the use of digital resources for citizen learning!
In these difficult times and despite the situation of confinement caused by Coronavirus'outbreak, which represents a challenge for each and every one of us, the LDA Tunisia team continues its work at a distance to carry out innovative actions with the same determination as always.
This time, it was about digital technology at the service of citizen learning, in the shape of a four-day online photography training course, which associated forty young enthusiasts with the expertise of two professional moderators: a videographer and director, and a communications expert. Together, they transformed the training into heart-warming moments driven by absolute enthusiasm.
The participants were particularly amazed by how quickly they were able to learn how the camera works, as well as different shooting and video editing techniques. Combining passion and technology, this cooperative virtual space realised on the Zoom remote conference service allowed a concrete application of a theoretical lesson in advertising production and institutional imaging.
This type of new skillsets that young people are seeking to acquire around video, filming, different image/video formats and shooting will be followed by the LDA Tunisia with its "In city" project. Indeed, within its framework its young volunteers will be the "Zoomers" of the city of Kairouan, and will project a collective vision for a city that is inclusive and attractive for both its inhabitants and visitors.
This vision is in turn based on the potential of responsible tourism as a mechanism for the economic, social and cultural inclusion of young migrants and potential migrants and for an inclusive and sustainable local development.
