They're here to help! Welcome our new ALDA ambassadors

The ALDA ambassador group is growing! On April 15th, ALDA Secretary-General Antonella Valmorbida and Membership Officer Eva Trentin virtually met with the recently recruited group of new Ambassadors from Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia and Spain.

Together, they discussed how to implement ALDA’s action at the local level and create an even more connected network, especially in this peculiar situation.

Their mandate, as for all ALDA ambassadors, is to represent ALDA in their own communities, strengthening the visibility and presence of the Association all over the enlarged Europe and consolidating it as a pan-European organization, while also supporting the actions of the ALDA members that are already established on the territory.

Among previously appointed ambassadors are members of the Association, representatives of ALDA’s Governing Board, Delegates of the Local Democracy Agencies, and former staff members. Similarly, the newly appointed ambassadors have all already been strongly engaged in ALDA's webinars and activities for a while, and they are known for their purposeful interconnection with the values and goals of the Association.

We are very much looking forward to collaborating further with this great group of supporters!
